One interface.
Many applications.

The CETA KeyPad combines the simplicity of a single button with the flexibility of a full radio control system — as the central component of your gate and door operation. A compact, wireless access control compatible with all CETA drives and common fixed-code radio receivers.

  • Gate and door control

Open and close sliding gates, swing gates, garage doors and front doors — all with the same device.

  • Individual key combinations

From a brief tap to a multi-digit security code — you define what triggers what, and when.

  • Integrated radio transmitter

Radio transmitter built into the device — no separate remote, no additional wiring required.

  • Universal compatibility

Works with all CETA drives and many third-party systems via fixed-code radio or relay.

Design & Function.

From key press to drive command — function, configuration and installation of the KeyPad at a glance.

01 · Operating principle

How the KeyPad works

The KeyPad is a self-contained radio control. Key recognition, code evaluation and radio transmission all happen inside the device — without external control electronics and without an app. The capacitive interface responds to every touch in under 50 milliseconds.

Radio transmission

As soon as your key combination is recognised, the KeyPad generates an encoded radio signal. The integrated radio transmitter sends it to all CETA drives as well as to third-party receivers using the fixed-code standard.

Fixed-code protocol

The fixed-code protocol offers reliable compatibility with established drives. Each transmission contains a fixed identifier tied to the device.

Range & receivers

With line of sight the typical range is several metres — sufficient for gate and door control at common installation positions.

02 · Configuration & Operation

Codes, mounting & power

KeyPad configuration happens directly on the device — no app, no software. Codes are freely programmed, multiple profiles can be stored in parallel, and with just two screws the KeyPad mounts on a wall, column or post.

Power supply

On battery power the KeyPad operates off-grid for up to two years. Where permanent power is available, the optional mains adapter provides unlimited operation.

Battery operation (CR2032)

A standard CR2032 coin cell powers the electronics for up to two years at room temperature. At low outdoor temperatures we recommend mains operation.

Maintenance note

A weakening key response signals an upcoming battery change early — typically 4–6 weeks before end of life.

FAQ

FAQ
about the KeyPad.

Answers on installation, compatibility and operation of the KeyPad — from configuring the radio control to caring for your code lock.

Ask a question
Which drives are compatible with the KeyPad?
The KeyPad works with all CETA drives and many third-party drives with fixed-code radio. An integrated relay also lets many devices be controlled directly — even without a radio connection.
How long does the battery last?
At room temperature the battery lasts up to 2 years. At low outdoor temperatures we recommend the optional mains adapter.
Where can I get a replacement battery?
The KeyPad uses a standard CR2032 coin cell — available in almost any supermarket or electronics shop.
Does the KeyPad work when wet?
Droplets on the touch surface may occasionally cause input errors. A brief wipe with your palm restores reliable input immediately.
